UN - WFP records a high Starvation Risk in Myanmar 2026
Countless people mainly children are in urgent need of food in Myanmar, as the ongoing issues, since 2021 with natural disasters as Cyclone Moca in 2023, Cyclone Yagi in 2024 and the devastating Earthquake in 2025.
All natural disasters during at times, when man made disasters for Children and Civilian Communities became the “Daily Normal “for millions of people as per UN, WHO, WFP stated again and again,----- Severe Shortage of Food in all Myanmar a sad standard.

A most generous global “Myanmar Lovers Community “, over the past 30 years Best Friends to all Myanmar people, visited many times during the past 30 Years since the “Visit Myanmar Year 1996 – 2026 “. People to People Aid.
,… Not even 48 hours – “Mission Accomplished “, when gasoline is rare @ highest cost, the way to walk with obstacles behind many next corners these days. So best and much hands on – efficient managed,- all food to ensure Food Security for 1 to 1,5 months to mainly children, young students, some very old people all far from their beloved original homes due to the well-known daily events in Myanmar and for good faith people the staple & the nutritious food reached its Destination within 48 hours.

as he is well-known at any CSR – “Myanmar Chefs Social Responsibility 2020 – 2026”, hands on and 24/7 “Chef on Duty “. Chef Nanda globally recognized also as “ BIG POT Chef - Aid Champion for his many charity events cooking for several thousand portion a day – for days where needed, of healthy – nutritious meals at natural and man-made events & disasters since many years. Like at World Chefs Culinary Heritage gathering in Punjab – India 2018 next to over 42 countries, - Myanmar Chef Ye Nanda Khin was awarded the World Chefs Gold Medal for his knowledge and skills in Myanmar Traditional Healthy Heritage Cuisine.
,… I sent a short mail to him Chef Nanda at night 8.4.26 – near midnight, - the direct reply from Chef Nanda on cost, logistics. My next mail – all within minutes was the “Go Ahead “from my side. From here all as usual in a Chefs Kitchen once the “Guests Request “is there all goes its way until “ Final Destination “is achieved. There is not back and forth there is only the way forward in a kitchen until plating is done.
Today less than 48 hours – at afternoon 10.4.2026 the truck arranged by Chef Nanda arrived to the happiness of the children there – right in time for the Myanmar New Year days 2026 – when next to all other obstacles many food shops , markets will close for nearly 10 days plus as also all cargo stops these days ..
Thank YOU to all great Friends of Myanmar people for the outstanding support over the past 30 years and specially over the past three years giving a hand – here food security to children, mothers , elder and people without work – zero income families a “ Helping Hand 2 Bridge “ until Myanmar gets back on its feet – hopefully soon in 2026.
