MCA Multi Ethnic Chefs at Bagan for Traditional Food Festival 18. & 19.8.2018
Myanmar Chefs followed the invitation of Ministry of Hotels & Tourism to join the Myanmar Tourism Promotion at Bagan Lawkanada Pagoda Festival on 18. & 19.8.2018. Show case healthy Myanmar Traditional Cuisine nutritious and fresh cooked and fresh baked. Local sourced food items to promote the local economy clean with only biodegradable and natural ( teak leaves ) packing.
Nay Pyi Taw Chef Romeo sent 1000 teak leaves for Organic sustainable Clean Food Packing. 22 Chefs from Mandalay, Inle, Kalaw, North & South Rakhine, Mon, Bagan, Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon arrived to the MCA sponsored Education and Tourism Promotion. Highlighted by special educational as Daw Thuzar Myint Food Safety, Hygiene & Nutrition, U Thein Naing team for Fruit & Ice Carving,– the Team Aung Myo Lwin & Pastry Alliance baking with Health Dry Zone Crop and Chef Nanda with Rakhine Fish Curry, next to Think Different Cuisine as ,Thet Paing with Nga Bai Moe, Pickled Tea leave Bread & Cream Cheese, and Chocolate specialist Ye Myo Minn with Marzipan Artist Ye Naing Oo and the Mandalay & Inle Chefs to arrive at night….
First day after Bus arrive a real Bagan Bae ( Bean ) Mohingar, than Market,- site inspection and set up the three MCA Food Promotion show and live cooking booth at Lawkananda Pagoda.
Lunch at Best Mar Lar Theingy Bagan Buffet followed by Dhamayangyi Pagoda visit and back to Nyaung Oo Thande Hotel which next to a great room rate sponsor also gives all facilities to the MCA team at Kitchen and Bakery. The usual Water Polo at Pool with live Guitar Music at MCA Band as afternoon and than all productions for the final days.
Daw Thuzar Myint hel the first lecture to all Nyaung Oo Thande and some other Hotel s staff , with more than 40 students at an afternoon educational for Nutrition, Food Safety and Hygiene in Tourism as well at Home.
Chefs from all corner of Myanmar arrived more are invited, just take the bus or plane and join the team
