I like you all take a minute to remember the spirit of U Than Lwin Mr Robin, Co Founder of Myanmar Chefs Association and bridge in 1996 between MCA chefs and the Government in all issues and all questions. Restless he served near 50 years for the Culinary Industry, for the benefit of all of you and he never asked for recognition, never hoped for medals… as he did all these trainings and teaching just for one,– the love of our Profession a perfect and standard Hospitality Industry in and for Myanmar. To many generations and thousands of culinary experts from Myanmar grew and learnt from his restless teaching at any corner of the whole Myanmar Country. Setting up the first Mohingar Competition morning s at 5:00 am at peoples park 1997 and was the last one to ensure all was cleared at best. Never asked anything for this as it was and is for him the Ultimate Normal being and working in the Hospitality Industry .

A memory by U Than Lwin s friend – US Professor Victor Buga ( Adult Educator & Gawdawpolin Education ), LA California.

“…..His photo, sitting next to me in the top floor at Ngapali Beach while I was trying to fix his computer, reminds me of his gentle and religious heart. His silent prayers at day break is an example worth to follow…”

U Than Lwin passed away with 78 year of age after a short actually simple issue,- than joined by complications which would have been easy avoided in an other countries ” Quality of General Hospitals “.

Lets give U Than Lwin the final Salute,– at the age of 78 he was still teaching full time at the Training Center MCA owns U Than Lwin Mr Robin, over the past 22 year s so much. U Than Lwin was most instrumental for MCA to get the Myanmar Governments recognition and so the official green light for becoming a full member of World Chefs in 1999, – Yours   ( Info at 01 501123 – 09 513 8411 )
